 I'm in the wedding spirit! No, I have no intentions of walking down the isle any time soon. HOWEVER, some of the greatest people I know (Hannah and Jason, Rita and Brandon) have chosen this year to say 'I do'. Although I can't be there to help my friends celebrate, my thoughts and best wishes are always with them.

I'm not sure when this was released but I found it a week ago and LOVE! This is such a beautifully shot video. The normal styling of Taylor Swift is bright and young. This video is shot with such softness. So perfect for the song.

Current Obsession - Aprons

Being deployed leaves you longing for things that remind you of home. I love to bake. LOVE to bake. It's relaxing and there's a yummy treat to eat after! Understand that I'm a modern girl who would probably go stir crazy if I was a housewife in the 1950's, but I bask in the simple pleasures housework. Which may be why I am obsessed with aprons. I found (and ordered) these adorable aprons on ModCloth. Now when I get home I can rock out in them while I make yummy cookies and cupcakes for all my friends. Yea!!!

My Afghanistan Days

Hello Everyone! As this is my first blog on blogspot I thought I should let you in on what's happening in my life. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan with my unit. It's been a long tour but it's almost over. But what's it like???? Here's some pics I took with my trusty Diana Mini and FishEye Lomography cameras.

This is my awesome FishEye look at the tents we live in. Each tent holds 8 to 10 Soldiers on either side You either get to like your neighbor or it'll be a very long deployment
